Vocational Certificate Program
This 60-hour program is designed to prepare the student to take the NCLEX examination with success. It is listed on the California Board of Nursing’s NCLEX Review Resources.
Preparation includes rigorous classroom instruction and supervised clinical training within the California State Department of Public Health Services guidelines. Theory classes are held in our state-of-the-art classrooms, while clinical hours are completed at state-approved care facilities.
Preparation includes classroom or self-paced instruction using the study materials and multimedia items selected by the program director. The program provides both comprehensive content review and NCLEX questions for practice.
The content consists of a comprehensive coverage of the topics tested through an NCLEX exam syllabus.
Classes may be held in an external site (workshop) or in a Monsbey College classroom(self-paced).
Study Materials Included
Upon successful completion of the program the students may acquire skills and knowledge necessary to take the NCLEX examination with success.
Testing is conducted by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) at an authorized testing site.
Students successful complete the testing may receive a National Certification as RN or VN.
